Sacred Duty is the Protection paladin secondary stat attunement, focusing on Haste.

Patch changes[]

Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Removed.
Hotfix (2015-01-12): Sacred Duty now causes the Paladin to gain 30% (up from 5%) more of the Haste stat from all sources.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Redesigned and reintroduced as the Protection paladin secondary stat attunement.
Previous effect: Your Judgement and Avenger's Shield have a 25/50% chance of making your next Shield of the Righteous a critical strike. Lasts 10 sec.
Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Sacred Duty can now be activated by Avenger's Shield in addition to Judgements. The effect now lasts 10 seconds, down from 15.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Sacred Duty has been revamped - Your Judgements have a 25/50% chance of making your next Shield of the Righteous a critical strike. Lasts 15 sec.
Hotfix (2010-02-05): Sacred Duty now provides 2/4% Stamina, down from 4/8% Stamina. The cooldown advantages of the talent remain unchanged. Tooltip to be fixed next patch.
Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Rank 1 now increases Stamina by 4%.
Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Interaction with [Divine Shield] and [Divine Protection] removed, but stamina bonus increased.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
