She apparently has the potential to become a powerful Blood Knight in Silvermoon's service. She is also a huge fan of the Tauren Chieftains, and aspires to be a rock star.

She is available only during Children's Week. To summon the orphan, the adventurer gets a whistle from Orphan Matron Mercy as part of the Children's Week quest.

Blood Knight Salandria

By the time of the war against the Jailer, Salandria had grown up to be a trainee of the Blood Knights. After Zovaal's defeat and the resurgence of the Scourge in the Ghostlands, she accompanied the blood elf adventurers to deal with the undead marshaled by the San'layn Vorath. As part of her quest, she and the adventurers traveled to the Shadowlands to empower a ranseur to defeat the San'layn leader. In Bastion, she met Vandellor, who challenged her to a fair race. The kyrian was overcome with a pang of remembrance at Salandria's familiar presence, but could not recall his mortal life. In Maldraxxus, she found Fightlord San who challenged her to an unfair fight. After both trials were completed, she obtained an empowered ranseur and returned to the Ghostlands. There, she commanded the adventurers to clear the Dead Scar down to Deatholme where Vorath was ultimately slain.

In Wrath of the Lich King, players can fish up an item in Dalaran called  [Salandria's Shiny Copper Coin], with the flavor text "Someday, I'm gonna be more powerful than all of these mages!"

After finishing the quest chain, players receive a letter from her in-game with the following text:

Dear <name>,

Thank you for taking me out during Children's Week. Lady Liadrin, the leader of the Blood Knights, has asked that I be released to her custody for training in Silvermoon City!

I just wanted to thank you for taking me to see my friend, Hch'uu, as well as the Dark Portal, the Throne of the Elements and the Caverns of Time. I like my toy dragon very much!

I'm sure that you're taking good care of my pet. Please tell him that I miss him!

Sincerely,

Salandria

Notes

  • Liadrin affectionately calls her "little phoenix".[1]

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

During the quest chain, the guards at the Caverns of Time attacked her, only to be stopped by Zaladormu, who says she will not be punished for "things she might do or fail to do in the future". She also says when she get the  [Toy Dragon] "Someday I plan to own a real one."
