Salandria is a Blood Elf Orphan a level 1 quest giver located in the Lower City in the neutral Shattrath City.
She apparently has the potential to become a Blood Knight in Silvermoon's service or very powerful blood elf mage,on her shiny copper coin is said "Someday, I'm gonna be more powerful than all of these mages!" . She is also a huge fan of the Tauren Chieftains, and aspires to be a rock star.
She is available only during Children's Week. To summon the orphan, the adventurer gets a whistle from Orphan Matron Mercy as part of the Children's Week quest.
She starts the following quests:

During the quest chain, the guards at the Caverns of Time attack her, only to be stopped by Zaladormu, who says she will not be punished for "things she might do or fail to do in the future". She also says when she get's the 
[Toy Dragon] "Someday I plan to own a real one."
In Wrath of the Lich King you can fish up an item in Dalaran called Salandria's (The Blood Elf Orphans name) Shiny Copper Coin, with the flavor text "Someday, I'm gonna be more powerful than all of these mages!"
It is possible, due to these things, that Salandria, may in fact, grow up to become a major lore character (possibly involving the Bronze Dragonflight) later on in the Warcraft universe. It is theorized by many fans that she will be the villain of a future game or expansion pack.
