Sandfury Guardians are serpents found in Zul'Farrak, just before arriving at Chief Ukorz Sandscalp.
Abilities[]
Poison — Inflicts Nature damage to an enemy every 3 sec. for 15 sec.
Thrash — Gives the caster 2 extra attacks.

Sandfury Guardians were uniquely the only tameable snakes in the game when World of Warcraft launched, as they were incorrectly flagged as wind serpents. Blizzard corrected this erroneous tag in patch 1.3.0, which removed both the both ability to tame them and the ability to feed those that had previously been tamed. Patch 2.0.1 later added serpents as a pet class, making Sandfury Guardians properly tameable once again.
