Scout Towers may be constructed at almost any location to provide continuous on-site observation. The towers are also the first necessary step in human town defense. These structures may later be upgraded to guard or cannon towers.[1]
Information[]
A fairly cheap observation tower, scout towers are generally unused for outer defenses due to possessing Light armor instead of the typical Fortified armor.
Scout Towers can be built by Peasants or instantly built via use of the Ivory Tower item from the Arcane Vault.
Upgrade the Scout Towers to Guard, Cannon or Arcane Towers immediately upon construction. This changes the building's armor from Light to Heavy (guard and arcane) or Fortified (cannon), and provide an early defense against enemy heroes. These cheap towers, when massed, make besieging an enemy town hard without the use of your own siege units to counter their range.
