Sea serpents are large serpents living in the seas of Azeroth. The sea serpents made their first appearance in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm[1] in the Kelp'thar Forest of Vashj'ir. They shouldn't be confused with the gigantic eels that also roam the areas.
The venom of the murkscale strikers of the Krasarang Wilds causes a potentially deadly condition that the locals call "the murksweats".[2]
They don't usually migrate as far north as Durotar, as a general rule.[3]
There is one known sea serpent on Argus, Slithon the Last in Eredath.
