Searing Blade is a rare world drop item; it can be dropped by mobs or found inside chests in old world zones such as Northern Stranglethorn and Hillsbrad Foothills.

When drawn, this sword becomes unnaturally hot to the touch - not enough to start fires, but sufficient to burn and blister unprotected skin. In moist environments, the warm metal sizzles, and in the rain or underwater, it bubbles and pops.
