- Not to be confused with Lunedane.

Seradane.
Seradane is an area in the northeastern part of the Hinterlands[63, 21] which houses one of the four entrances to the Emerald Dream, a large circular portal.
History[]

The Great Tree in Seradane.
The Great Tree was planted by the followers of Fandral Staghelm from one of Nordrassil's branches in order to stem the tide of saronite seeping up from the land.[1]
World of Warcraft[]
Green dragons made this forest their home including the drakes Rothos and Dreamtracker. The majority of the dragons that inhabited the area were green dragonspawn, which patrolled the area in 3-manned groups consisting of a Verdantine Oracle accompanied by Verdantine Boughguards and Verdantine Tree Warders.
Cataclysm[]
After the Cataclysm the Green Dragonflight abandoned Seradane, leaving the area empty.
Legion[]

Seradane in Legion.
During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, the Dream Portal was activated by druids, providing access to the Emerald Dreamway.
When the Dreamway fell to the Nightmare, Lumbering Mindgorgers begun pouring out of the portal, threatening the surrounding area. Heroes fighting the Dragons of Nightmare would come here to defeat these aberrations.
In the RPG[]
This vast, untainted woodland occupies most of the eastern Hinterlands. Seradane is a remarkable sylvan landscape, the most idyllic area in a realm of idylls. A flourishing Great Tree grows in Seradane, and green dragons and their allies protect the land.[2]
Notes[]
- The skull of an unknown dragon is also to be found lying on top of a hill slightly to the north of the portal.
- Another point to note is that similar faced stones surrounding this skull can also be found making up a couple of the Circles of Binding in the Arathi Highlands, namely the Circle of East Binding and Circle of Outer Binding.
