Arathor is a PvE server that has been running since January 12, 2007, four days prior to The Burning Crusade expansion release. It was launched as a free transfer destination for players from the overcrowded realms Skywall, Silvermoon, Moonrunner, Suramar, and Bronzebeard. Launched at the same time as Arathor, also as free transfer destinations, were the realms Trollbane, Madoran, and Farstriders.
