Bladefist EU |
---|
Bladefist Europe is an English-speaking realm, and is known to have a cozy atmosphere and cross-faction friendships. Bladefist is one of the original launch realms. It was one of the highest populated realms, and often had server queues, until it experienced a mass exodus in April 2006 when free character migrations opened to the new Outland realm. Due to terrible lag that had plagued Bladefist prior to this point, the realm had gained the nickname Lagfist, and many players took the free migration not knowing that the realm was to receive new hardware in the next coming months. The realm also had a high number of Russian players up until August 2008, when free character migrations to the new Russian realms opened up. With the mass migration and low numbers of players, the realm was often referred to as 'Deadfist' until four free character migrations to the realm happened from late in The Burning Crusade to early on in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Bladefist has been the destination realm for two more free character migrations since then, one in February 2012 and the other one in November 2014. The realm population mostly consists of players from Scandinavia and England. Bladefist is connected with the Zenedar, Frostwhisper, Darksorrow, Genjuros and Neptulon realms. As of 18/03/2023, the realm is classified as having a low population, and is primarily Horde dominated. Lag is not common.
