General Info[]
Spinebreaker is a high population PVP server. According to Warcraft Realm Stats, its total population is over 27,695 characters with about 7,353 - 27% Alliance and 20,342 - 73% Horde. The Alliance to Horde activity ratio is 1 : 2.4
PVE Guild progress can be found at [~ttp://www.wowprogress.com/pve/us/spinebreaker WoWProgress] and also on Spinebreaker Forum's Progression Tracker. Phantom Elite (Horde) is the server's current progression leader with Yogg Saron killed since Apr 23, 2009. Before the WoTLK expansion, most server firsts were with Drunken Alliance. Drunken Alliance has since disbanded.

Masi Oka, star of NBC's Heroes, stated in an interview on G4TV that he was an officer in a guild on Spinebreaker. In an interview with Yahoo! Games when asked "Has the show's (Heroes) success impacted your own gaming habits?" Masi replied, "Yes, I feel like I have to be more responsible with my time. Not that gaming is a waste of time. I like to have my gaming relaxation time. When I was playing World of Warcraft, I couldn't believe how much time I spent inside of that world. And as great a world as that is, I realize I live in a great world. I want to create these fantasies now, not just live in it. If I have free time I want to write and do creative things.
