Notes

There used to be some debate as to whether this set or Voidheart Raiment is better for Warlocks planning to raid. Shadow's Embrace has much more spell damage, however, Voidheart's has much more +Spell hit and +Spell Crit.

Patch changes

• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): No longer requires the now removed Shadoweave Tailoring specialization.
  
• Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): All pieces of this set are now Bind on Equip instead of Bind on Pickup. Additionally, the Frost and Shadow spell bonus damage has been changed to a lesser amount of Spell Power.
  
• Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): The set bonus from these items will no longer have its tooltip modified by the [Vampiric Embrace] talent and can no longer cause a critical strike heal.
  
• Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Added.
