Shadow Word: Insanity is a talented priest ability, available at level 45. It is the Shadow version of [Power Word: Solace].

Patch changes

• Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Removed. Replaced by the effect granted to Shadow priests through [Solace and Insanity].
  
• Hotfix (2012-09-18): Shadow Word: Insanity should now deal 2667 to 2815 damage plus 290% of spellpower at level-85 (up from 2235 to 2359 plus 243% of spellpower).
