- During early testing, the ones in the cave were named Slatespine Juveniles, while the purple variant was named Shardclaw Maulers. The units at Mauler's Outlook were previously named Shardclaw Bears before being renamed to Shardhide Bears before finally gaining the "growler" sobriquet.
