The orphanage's exterior.
The Shattrath orphanage[76, 51] is located in the eastern end of the Lower City of Shattrath. Run by the orphan matrons Nicole Bartlett and Mercy, it serves as a refuge for the children who've lost their parents to the deadly conflicts across Outland.[1][2] It houses blood elf, draenei, human, and orc children, as well as babies of many other races. Priests sometimes visit the orphanage and tell the children stories.[3][4]
During Children's Week, adventurers can visit the orphanage to temporarily adopt one of two orphans: Dornaa (Alliance) or Salandria (Horde).

Dornaa, moved to the Exodar to apprentice for Farseer Nobundo.- Hch'uu, brought back to Sporeggar by her people, the sporelings.
- Jheel, moved to Aeris Landing to apprentice for the Consortium.
- Salandria, moved to Silvermoon City to apprentice for Lady Liadrin.
