Shifting Power Mage ability 5% base mana 1 min cooldown Channeled Draw power from the ground beneath, dealing (212.16% of Spell power) Nature damage over 4 sec to enemies within 18 yds. While channeling, your Mage ability cooldowns are reduced by 10 sec over 4 sec.

Shifting Power is the mage class ability of the Night Fae Covenant. It's available to all mages who join the Night Fae.

This ability is also temporarily available during the Ardenweald portion of the Shadowlands campaign; it's given by the quest  [55-60] Preparing for the Winter Queen and lasts until you finish the Ardenweald storyline.

Patch changes

• Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Fixed an issue that prevented Shifting Power from reducing the cooldown of [Alter Time] and [Spellsteal] while [Kleptomania] was talented.
  
• Hotfix (2020-12-17): Shifting Power's visual effects now appear much smaller for friendly players.
  
• Hotfix (2020-12-01): [Combustion] no longer interrupts the channeling of Shifting Power.
