Shrapnel Bomb is one of three abilities granted by the level 100 Survival hunter talent [Wildfire Infusion]. It's a modified version of
[Wildfire Bomb], with a damage over time effect that causes
[Raptor Strike] (or
[Mongoose Bite]) and
[Carve] (or
[Butchery]) to apply a stacking bleed to afflicted targets.
After being out of combat for several seconds, Wildfire Infusion's effect will default back to Shrapnel Bomb.
Tips and tactics
- Internal Bleeding's damage can be maximized by pooling Focus as Shrapnel Bomb comes off cooldown, so Raptor Strike or Carve can be cast multiple times before Shrapnel Bomb's DoT runs out.
- Since it can be used to apply bleeds to multiple enemies at once, Shrapnel Bomb has synergy with the level 60 talent
[Bloodseeker].
Notes
- In the Battle for Azeroth alpha, the DoT applied by this ability was called Piercing Shrapnel and Scorching Shrapnel.[1]
