The Sign of the Emissary is a buff that is available during the world quests Bonus Event. It increases the reputation gained from world quests by 50%.

Warlords of Draenor

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 7.0.3.

The Sign of the Emissary was a weekend bonus event that allows players to earn reputation for running Draenor dungeons. During this event, Seer Kazal in the Garrison offered the quest  [100] Emissary of War to complete 4 mythic dungeons.

Trash mobs award 20 rep when killed, and bosses award 400.
