Slice and Dice is a level 9 rogue ability. It is a finishing move that makes quick work of enemies by allowing you to attack more quickly than usual. By increasing the speed of your auto attacks, it also allows more poison applications within a given time frame.

Tips and tactics

• Slice and Dice is the best finishing move to use in raid situations. As it increases your white damage, and most damage in a raid comes from white damage, it should always be up.

Patches and hotfixes

• Patch 9.0.5 (2021-03-09): Slice and Dice Rank 2 removed, replaced with Cut to the Chase (rogue ability).
  
• Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Readded to all specs, no longer increases energy regeneration until Rank 2 (Assassination only, Level 56), energy regeneration bonus lowered from 15% to 10%.
  
• Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Attack speed bonus lowered from 125% to 50%.
  
• Patch 7.2.5 (2017-06-13): Slice and Dice now increases attack speed by 125% (was 100%).
  
• Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Now also grants 15% increased energy regeneration.
  
• Hotfix (2016-08-08): Slice and Dice now increases attack speed by 100% (was 90%).
  
• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now a level 100 Outlaw talent and increases attack speed by 90%, up from 40%.
  
• Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Duration increased from 9/12/15/18/21 sec to 12/18/24/30/36 sec.
  
• Hotfix (2011-01-26): The benefit of Executioner for Slice and Dice is now correctly removed from the rogue after switching talent specializations.
  
• Patch 3.0.9 (2009-02-10): This ability now increases melee attack speed by 40%, up from 30%.
