Slow Fall

In World of Warcraft, Slow Fall is an effect that, when applied to a player, slows down their falling speed.

Slow Fall allows players to avoid fall damage. It also retains their horizontal speed, which enables players to cover larger distances when jumping or falling.

Abilities[]

The Mage ability [Slow Fall] grants Slow Fall for 30 seconds. This can be used on other players.
The Priest ability [Levitate] applies a buff that, among other benefits, grants Slow Fall for 10 minutes. The effect is canceled when mounting or taking damage. This can be used on other players.
The Demon hunter ability [Glide] grants Slow Fall. The ability has an initial thrust and allows directional control while falling.
The Druid ability [Flap], which can be learned with [Tome of the Wilds: Flap], grants Slow Fall for 15 seconds. Requires [Moonkin Form].
The Hunter pet ability [Updraft], used by Feathermane and Pterrordax pets, grants both the pet and the Hunter Slow fall for 30 seconds.
The Dracthyr racial [Glide] grants Slow Fall. The ability has an initial thrust and allows directional control while falling.
The Zandalari troll racial [Pterrordax Swoop] grants the user Slow Fall for 2 minutes with a 15 minutes cooldown. The ability has an initial thrust and allows directional control while falling.
