Soff is a human captain of Alterac, serving his uncle captain Aretain Naris and is noted to be one of his best captains. However, he gets jealous of the affection that his uncle shows toward their old comrades. He tries to get them drunk (usually he is rather inebriated himself) and draw them into a fight.[1]
