[[Category:warlock abilities]][[Category:warlock abilities]]

"Are you lighting a soul on fire? Or burning someone with your OWN soul? This seems like an important distinction."[1]

Soul Fire is a mana efficient, high damage direct damage Demonology warlock Fire spell with a long cast time.

Improvements

H [7-30] Decimation will lower the cast time and mana cost of the next Soul Fire by 50% Shadowbolt or Soul Fire at a target that is at or below 25% health.

Tips and tactics

It is best used as your initial attack for pulling due to its long cast time. In this sense it is similar to the Mage's Spell fire fireball02 [Pyroblast] ability.

This skill is generally one of the warlock's most mana-efficient spells.

For targets under 25% health, H [7-30] Decimation allows Soul Fire to be cast faster. This passive makes Soul Fire similar to a warrior's Inv sword 48 [Execute].

The long cast time makes it harder to use in PvP as the time spent casting it is time gained for an enemy player to tear you to pieces.
