Spear Hand Strike is a monk class talent that interrupts casting and prevents spells from that school from being cast for 4 seconds.

Not affected by the global cooldown.

Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02): Interrupt duration decreased to 3 seconds (was 4 seconds).
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 5 class talent (was a level 18 Brewmaster/Windwalker ability).

Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): No longer available to Mistweaver monks.

Patch 5.3.0 (2013-05-21): Now locks a spell school out for 4 seconds, down from 5 seconds.
Hotfix (2013-03-07): Now properly causes the target to be locked out of the school of the interrupted spell.
Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Spear Hand Strike, used on a target that's facing the Monk silences them for 2 seconds (was 4 seconds).
