Ability monk cranekick new
  • Spinning Crane Kick
  • Attacking all nearby enemies for Physical damage every 0.5 sec.
  • Duration: 1.5 seconds

Spinning Crane Kick, commonly abbreviated "SCK", is a monk ability. While channelled it deals physical damage every 0.5 seconds for 1.5 seconds (without any haste). This is the main area of effect attack for monk, meaning that this is the main ability that is used when facing against multiple enemies.

  • This ability is used in all three monk specs. For Brewmaster it generates AOE aggro and retrieves Healing Spheres (created by eg Ability druid giftoftheearthmother [Gift of the Ox]); for Mistweaver it converts to healing via Spell animaardenweald buff [Awakened Faeline]; for Windwalker it is a Chi spender and source of AOE damage, especially with the Ability monk cranekick new [Dance of Chi-Ji] proc.
  • 8yds is larger than melee range, allowing the monk to hit targets that they cannot attack with other abilities.
  • In Windwalker specialization a small number will be displayed on the button indicating how many targets are currently affected by Ability monk cranekick new [Mark of the Crane].
