Star Moss.

Star Moss is a crafting reagent that herbalists gather from herb nodes of the same name. Scribes and alchemists use star moss as part of their professions.

Star moss nodes exist in Zandalar and Kul Tiras. It has an extremely small chance to be looted from the corpses of enemy mobs. The herb also has a chance to be contained in caches awarded upon completion of a PvP activity like a battleground or killing a player with a bounty on them.

Notes

• Star moss is important in Kul Tiran final rites. Its bloom is given to all mourners to set loose on the waves.
• The magic within star moss is sensitive to emotions, particularly feelings of reverence, loss, and remembered joy. Focusing on those emotions will prevent the bloom from wilting.
• The blossoms of the star moss are light-red in Zandalar and light-blue in Kul Tiras.
• Star moss grows on the sides of buildings rather than on the ground.
