Pick up the other two quests before heading out.
Captured Forgehands are being held by Forsworn Overseers or Praetorian Artificers. Kill the hostiles and interact with the forgehand to free it. Neutral Darksworn Forgehands are lost and cannot be redeemed.
On return:
