The subject of this article or section was part of Legion Invasions, a world event that heralded the beginning of the Burning Legion's third invasion of Azeroth prior to Legion.
Stormwind Gryphon Riders were humans located in Westfall during the Legion Invasions. The riders could often be found dead, but in these cases their gryphons were most of the time only injured. Saving them would improve the score of defense against the Legion.
