In Elwynn Forest.

Knocked unconscious by the Veiled Hand.

During A [50] On Whispered Winds.

Stormwind Royal Guards are human guards located in Stormwind City. They can be found outside and inside Stormwind Keep.

Prior to the reveal that Lady Katrana Prestor was in fact the black dragon Onyxia, some of the royal guards had been replaced with Onyxia's Elite Guards in disguise. They revealed their true nature when Marshal Reginald Windsor unveiled Lady Prestor's true nature.[1]

A group of them accompanied Varian Wrynn and Jaina Proudmoore to the Argent Coliseum.

Following the Cataclysm, a platoon of them is seen patrolling in Elwynn Forest.

Several of them are found in Shrine of Seven Stars and later in the Underhold following the defeat of Garrosh Hellscream accompanying the royal family.

When the third invasion of the Burning Legion of Azeroth started, the guards in the royal Keep were busy fighting demons shortly after the death of Varian, as well as when the Veiled Hand cultists and the Uncrowned sabotaged and infiltrated the keep.[2]

They were paroling the city during H [10-50] The Stormwind Extraction.

When a death knight adventurer arrives in Stormwind City for the first time:

  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: GET A ROPE!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: How dare you set foot in our city!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: Looks like we're going to have ourselves an execution.
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: Monster!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: Murderer!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: My family was wiped out by the Scourge! MONSTER!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: Traitorous dog!
  • Stormwind Royal Guard says: You disgust me.
