Summon Felguard is a level 40 Demonology warlock ability. It summons a Felguard, replacing the warlock's current minion. The Felguard serves primarily as an AoE damage pet.
Patches and hotfixes
Hotfix (2016-09-23): Felguard attack power increased by 10%. - Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19):
- Now costs 1 Soul Shard instead of mana. Cast time reduced to 2.5 seconds, down from 5.
- Now learned at level 40.
Patch 6.2.0 (2015-06-23): Model updated. - Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now learned at level 42.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12):
- Now a Demonology specialization ability available at level 10.
- No longer costs a Soul Shard to summon.
- Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): This pet will periodically check to see if you know the talent which allows you to summon it, and die if you do not know the talent.
