Sven Yorgen is a human quest giver who originally appeared at a small camp on the northern edge of the Hushed Bank in Duskwood. Since the Cataclysm, he is found in Raven Hill.
History[]
Sven says that he can remember Duskwood before it was darkened,[1] which means he was born before the First War as Duskwood became like that when Medivh died.[2]
World of Warcraft[]
He and his family once owned the Yorgen Farmstead, but whilst he was out one day, Dark Riders appeared looking for the Scythe of Elune and killed his wife and children. Accompanied by Lars, Sven was seeking to find the identity of a shadowy figure he spotted at his farm, which is actually Jitters.
Cataclysm[]
After completing [10-30] A Curse We Cannot Lift, Sven appears as a quest giver. Some time after solving the deaths of his family, Sven was infected by one of the feral worgen of Duskwood and became one of them, but still retained a vestige of his mind. This was enough to bring back his sanity through alchemy. He argues, blames and even threatens Jitters for all that has happened to himself, citing how Jitters (however inadvertently) brought both the Worgen to Duskwood and the Dark Riders to Sven's family.
After completing the quest-chain, Sven permanently appears at Raven Hill. He sends adventurers out to find out what happened with Morbent Fel.
