Swiftness Potion provides a short burst of speed, and is useful for outrunning mobs and other players, or capturing a flag in Warsong Gulch. It is crafted by alchemists with a skill level of 60.

Materials required:

	1x [Crystal Vial]

 [Recipe: Swiftness Potion] is a world drop off lower level mobs.

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic.

This item is also a quest reward from [Apothecary Zamah (quest)]] and  [28] Elixir of Agony.

Notes

Swiftthistle is also the key ingredient of the rogues' favorite  [Thistle Tea], which leads to the frequent economic anomaly that enables raw Swiftthistle to sell for more than Swiftness Potions on the AH.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2020-11-05): Various legacy consumables including Swiftness Potion, Invisibility Potion, Free Action Potion, and Purification Potion have had their max usable level increased to 50.
  
• Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): 5 minute cooldown added. Level cap added.
