Level ranges of wings[]

  • Can anyone confirm the level ranges of the instance wings? I got the info from TenTonHammer, but there seem to be mixed level ranges out on the web. --Fandyllic (talk) 6:33 PM PDT 19 Oct 2006
    • Mana Tombs has to be the first or second as my guildis went there with level 63-65 --Kramm 21:50, 19 October 2006 (EDT)

According to Jayne (wow.warcry.com), Crypts comes before Tombs. He's in the beta btw. Also, I moved Nexus-Stalker Shaffer to Nexus-Prince Shaffer, the name he's given on thottbot beta. --paranoiabacon

Auchindoun in the past[]

Am I the only who seems to recall that Auchindoun had been mentioned earlier (I mean before the Burning Crusade, maybe in Warcraft 2 or 3). Was it on an old Outland map ?--K ) (talk) 12:11, 31 October 2006 (EST)

OK found it

"The main goal of this instance is to help the leveling."?[]

This sentence doesn't make gramatical sense and also doesn't seem to apply to this group of instances since among them is a lvl 70 instance. Deleted for now. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Darbad (talk · contr).

Pronunciation[]

There is no phlegm involved in the pronunciation of Auchindoun. It is a soft "ch", practically a heavy "h", just as in Loch.

How Come the Legion?[]

Why does the Legion not join forces with those in the Shadow Labyrinth? I mean both are on the same force(or faction right?) So why does Exarch Malaadar not join forces with Vorpil? They could actually control Auchindoun then. Please comment on this.User:Irrilea

Maladaar and the Auchenai are not aligned with the Burning Legion. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 09:31, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Auchindoun Vs Fortress Auchindoun[]

The History section should be checked or clarificied. First is said Auchindoun is a former Bleeding Hollow Fortress (Fortress Auchindoun) and later that has been a draenei mausoleum for thousand of years. Are those two different buildings with similar names or the same? if are the same, Did the Bleeding Hollow invade the mausoleum during the Rise of the Horde in Draenor? --Petrovic (talk) 13:23, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

History[]

Original BC site claims Auchindoun had been around for thousands of years, when all current lore states the Draenei had arrived on Draenor 200 years prior to the First War. Possible retcon? If so, we need to remove the quote from the BC launch site. It confused me and a few others who made threads about it. Cannibeans (talk) 01:03, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

Cite it.--SWM2448 01:15, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
That entire thing is a mess. RoTH said 200 years, K'ure said many hundreds of years, D'ore said nearly a thousand years, the TBC flash site said thousands. However, Kosak said they're moving forward with the couple hundred years when asked about WoD.

"Well, Oshu'gun crashed a couple hundred years (or more) before this time period. So, that ship has sailed. Er... crashed." "We're moving forward with the 200-300 year timeframe. Long enough to settle a couple large cities, no longer."[1]

I would suggest putting a separate ref class note that shows all the sources and years. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 03:22, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

Crypt of Remembrance[]

In the History section, Auchindoun is referred to as the Crypt of Remembrance (or the Crypt of Remembrance is cited as being the tomb that would become Auchindoun), but the quest cited for this statement does not refer to Auchindoun by this name, nor does the Chronicle (The Chronicle does, however, call Auchindoun "a Home for the Honored Dead"). The only use of the term "Crypt of Remembrance" that I can immediately find is in reference to a Death Knight quest.

Am I missing another place where this name is used in reference to Auchindoun? If so, a source for this name should probably be added.
