I suspect this will be easier to answer a week after the Cataclysm release, but perhaps a Beta or PTR participant knows already.

Wowhead appears to show 34 different daily quests, I suspect some are random/rotating. Any indication how many/which are available every day, how many/which are only if Alliance controls the zone, how many/which are regardless of zone control? These will help set the pace at which we can get Exalted with the faction, and how many quest journal spots to leave open.

The last paragraph has several issues. First off, timeline. It says that at the start of the Pandaria events, adventurers cleared Tol Barad, which is wrong because it may have been whenever, but likely in Cataclysm when the raids occurred. Then, that there was a naval battle off the coast of Tol Barad is not relevant to the wardens because their participation is not mentioned and the fighters could be anyone. Then, while it could be the wardens cleaning the Hold, the source doesn't say and remains ambiguous. We should just stick to what sources tell us and which is the Alliance and Horde abandoning the Hold to the demons that invaded it after adventurers raided. "The Baradin's Wardens eventually managed to claim dominion over Tol Barad and began work on restoring the region." That's not even remotely close to any source there is. We don't know if anyone claimed Tol Barad. --Mordecay (talk) 18:16, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

:Although I agree it is ambiguous, guarding Baradin Hold is why the BWardens exist. It would be really strange if it was another faction who controlled the prison. --Ryon21 (talk) 18:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

:It says by the time of, as in by the time the war in pandaria started these things that happened. We do not know the exact time frame so saying by the time of is the most accurate way of stating it. The source is also not very ambiguous when you take it within context. After victory is achieved in tol barad in game the wardens will take over the area. adventures also went down into the hold to kill the demons just as what happened when the area is taken over. The only reason we know it was the warden's is because of armond thaco. At the time of when this would have occurred, the Kirin Tor would have been a part of the Alliance. as such we can narrow it down to the wardens. I get that it doesn't explicitly say them in the manifest, but considering the context of the situation it can literally be no other force, especially since you can see the wardens in this capacity in game if the alliance controls the area. There is no reason or support to assume that this was somehow different canonically when blizzard has provided what would happen if they won.--Berenal (talk) 18:42, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Who is Baradin?

Who is Baradin. And whats the connection to the Wardens?--Knighthonor (talk) 17:54, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

They are the wardens of Baradin Hold. There you have the connection. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GVJB (talk · contr).

Quests and Dailies

I suspect this will be easier to answer a week after the Cataclysm release, but perhaps a Beta or PTR participant knows already. Wowhead appears to show 34 different daily quests, I suspect some are random/rotating. Any indication how many/which are available every day, how many/which are only if Alliance controls the zone, how many/which are regardless of zone control? These will help set the pace at which we can get Exalted with the faction, and how many quest journal spots to leave open. Yourbuddybill (talk) 16:48, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Update

I described how many quests can be done daily by players, at which locations and under what circumstances (i.e Alliance controlling etc). Any correction is always welcome if I am mistaken somewhere. I also added some faction NPCs to link them with the daily quests.

Currently, I'm updating the chain of quests with their description, objectives, rewards etc. Thale (talk) 15:40, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Kul Tiras or Stromgarde?

Something that bugs me is their affiliation to both the Admiralty of Kul Tiras and Kingdom of Stromgarde. Can they be considered an organization within any of these kingdoms or are they an independant force of the Alliance? --Amargaard (talk) 08:34, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Some information might be wrong like for example, the Tol Barad page says they were formed after the construction of Baradin Hold but that reference points to Wardens page and is not stated anywhere. And the Wardens page lacks a lot of references. We ought to do a clean up and fix any mistakes. Although overall, it seems they were Stromic forces protecting the island that were repurposed to act as guardians of Baradin Hold under the Kirin Tor and Kul Tiras. After Dalaran's fall and Kul Tiras departure, maybe they were left alone protecting the island in someway until they were contacted by the Alliance. But this is merely speculation. --Ryon21 (talk) 09:13, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

MoP & Legion

The last paragraph has several issues. First off, timeline. Although I agree it is ambiguous, guarding Baradin Hold is why the BWardens exist. It would be really strange if it was another faction who controlled the prison. --Ryon21 (talk) 18:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
