On scope[]

I've removed a large amount of "content" from this article, mainly because it didn't need to be here in the first place. Some examples:

The patch notes and known issues sections
I don't think we should maintain a parallel copy of these things on the wiki: they aren't particularly relevant to Warcraft, change frequently, and create busy work to keep up-to-date. Providing an external link to the relevant support forum should be good enough.
The features section
The original text was a mix of datamined NYI-tagged features, features lacking descriptions, and features that look like they're there just to pad the list ("it can be resized!"). The shorter summary of what this app does in the new lead-in seems to cover of the app's functionality.
The screenshot galleries
There's no reason to screenshot every minute detail of the app; showing a screenshot of a connectivity error message doesn't really communicate anything to the reader. The screenshot that currently appears in the infobox is probably representative enough.

Blizzard Battle.net[]

Since the new name change, the app was redesigned as "Blizzard App" as that is what it is called when you open Settings -> About (and it is still even after the announcement and two updates since). Then on their actual website, it is called, Blizzard desktop app. I'll give this about 1-2 months from today and see if they'll do some name changing to the "Blizzard Battle.net". If not, I propose to rename this article and related ones back to Blizzard desktop app. — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 08:56, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

So as of today, I have notice a change in the Downloads on Battle.net. The name for the app is now referring to Blizzard Battle.net® app but the app itself, the main page and the app page doesn't reflect it. Yet... — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 20:04, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
With the release of open beta two days ago (October 5), patch 1.9.1, they refer to it as Blizzard Battle.net but the app is still Blizzard App. — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 20:43, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
