::actually, takeing the quest from trolls and running north out at the outhouses, past the bucket of apples, will give you a removal of about 5 buffs and it's shorter than running around the hill between the partyground and the entrance to orgrimmar, which would be the logical way when taking the orc's quests. would be fun if they make some kind of "this brewery won!", but i doubt that's planned or thought of. {{User:Taurmindo/sig}} 17:46, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Details

It is already on PTR?--Gurluas 15:28, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes it is Oahkoah 16:18, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Can you actually buy and ride a ram? like a mount?--Gurluas 17:16, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I think if you get 600 tokens then yes, you can. It will take a few days doing the daily quests and killing the Dark Iron dwarves to get enough
Hordes too? :D --Gurluas 17:44, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Horde too. --Maceman 17:12, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Can anyone give more info on this? im anxious to know what this is all about.--Gurluas 11:18, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

You need 600 tickets to buy an item that gives you a quest which allows you access to buying riding rams. I'm pretty sure no one has got the 600 tickets yet, but the quest item is available for both Horde and Alliance. Oahkoah 13:55, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

How much does the mount cost?--Gurluas 14:15, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Did you even look at the picture? it is using a new item for currency. look at the picture for how many you will need.   Zurr  TC 18:48, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
I saw a lv 40 edition of it, and the mount is named Brewfest Ram not honorary something
Oi people. You need 600 Brewfest tickets to get an "Honorary Brewer" hand stamp. Said hand stamp will allow you to purchase a ram for either 10g normal, 100g epic. Mingonashoba

Attack

Ugh. I just experienced a dark iron attack, which was an exercise in bewilderment. I wasn't allowed to attack the dark irons that I was supposed to attack. I randomly got a drunken master buff which made me spin around. It seems like it would be fun if I had any clue what I was supposed to do, but it was super irritating being told to do something that I wasn't allowed to do! Yet another example of *really* poor introductory experiences by blizzard. JoshuaRodman 11:39, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually, just follow the crowd. People figure these stuff out pretty quick. I was bewildered how everyone was killing those dwarves my 1st time but I enjoyed the chaos anyway. --Invin Dranoel 13:58, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I was a bit lost at first too. In order to attack the dark iron party crashers, you need a brew mug from one of the barkers. /wave at one of them, and they'll toss you a mug. Drink it, and you'll toss it, automatically targeting any dark iron dwarves you might be pointed towards. If you're near enough to one of the barkers when you drink the brew, they'll toss you a new one. Don't forget to speak to the ticket exchanger when the attack is over!--AgentCDE 16:16, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Real world reference

...has anyone noticed the similarity in Ram Master Ray's name to that of Jam Master Jay? --Super Bhaal 08:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes. Glad to know I'm not the only one who got it...I feel old. Mingonashoba

...I Think when the Dark Iron Herald shouts "No one expects the dark iron dwarves" is a reference to Month Python "No one Expects the Spanish Enquistion". Snorkyorky

Horde?

Why doesnt the horde have more quests :( Happy taurens come from TB 20:00, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Probably only because they haven't been added yet. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 20:06, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

/wave

According to http://blue.cardplace.com/newcache/forums.worldofwarcraft.com/2147483647.htm only one wave is required. Can anyone confirm? User:Kirkburn/Sig3 20:34, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

YES. If you are in range of a barmaid (basically anywhere where the dark irons attack) they will throw you another when you use yours. User:Tekkub/Sig 01:52, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Except that since they didn't expect people to actually want to do these quests, it's disabled now. They have such good ideas, and mess them up so badly... (sigh) --Azaram 03:24, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Despite being offtopic, it's also the incorrect response for my topic. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 19:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Only partially off topic; the rest is accurate. Since people kept spamming /wave and causing problems, the entire dark iron attack even has been removed entirely, and now waving at them does nothing at all. --Azaram 01:11, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
I think the "wanting to do" bit only referred to the Barking quests, but I may be wrong :P Kirkburn  talk  contr 01:12, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
No, those were just screwed up. :-p --Azaram 12:10, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

"Kill" count

I finally was around to participate in the attack. I got 6. I was spamming the heck out of my brew. What's your "kill" average? User:Reacheround/Sig 01:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

My very best is 11 in an eruption crowded with players. Stay near the edge of the area rather than the center, less competition from the other players. You must face the Dark Iron dwarves to be able to hit them, but you don't need to target them first ... drinking will automatically target one for a throw if there is one in range in the direction you're facing. Seankreynolds 20:12, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Glitch

I know in Zangarmarsh, there is a bug almost none of the quests work. Is it on every realm? Mr.X8 00:10, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Bugged on Arthas as well User:Reacheround/Sig 04:09, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Yes, read the article? User:Kirkburn/Sig3 19:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Ram Racing Speed

Does anyone know if Inv misc crop 02 [Riding Crop] or Inv misc food 54 [Carrot on a Stick] or Ability rogue sprint [Mithril Spurs] or basically any mount-speed enhancer will work on the ram mounts? This would be useful in getting more mileage out of the limited time you have on them. -Jaardon 02:51, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

They don't. --Pcj (TC) 04:32, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

For Whom You Bark

Anyone know whether it makes a difference if you bark for one or the other? -Jaardon 02:52, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't. Unless your conscience starts bothering you because you really prefer the one whom you're not barking for. --Pcj (TC) 04:32, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

I really hope they have some special event planned for the winning brewery. ElvisDumbledore - eschew obfuscation 14:03, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
