Camp Taurajo wasn't a massacre[]
Hi, I think that Ultimaton100’s edits to this page are biased and exaggerated. It went from:
“During the events of Cataclysm, the town will be destroyed by the Alliance, in order to secure their offensive against the Horde. Several Quest lines do hint that the General who led the assault ordered his men to give the townsfolk an opening in their defensive lines for the them to escape to. Despite these orders, civilians were killed during the assault, whether intentional or not. Due to this, the way into Mulgore will be reinforced with a wall and a gate.”

Several Quest lines do hint that the General who led the assault ordered his men to give the townsfolk an opening in their defensive lines for the them to escape to. Hawthorne's men did not follow his orders however, and the townspeople were massacred. Due to this, the way into Mulgore will be reinforced with a wall and a gate.”
It is an assumption, not a fact, that Hawthorne’s men did not obey his orders. Many of the Horde NPCs in Taurajo did manage to escape to Camp Una'fe. He says that he ordered it during the attack so he had to be there as the actual attack was occurring. And seeing as Hawthorne’s quest [10-30] Clap 'Em In Irons imply that he’s a hardass who doesn’t tolerate insubordination, why would he permit it in an actual military operation? If the Alliance allowed civilians to escape, I would hardly call it a massacre.
I think you should undo his edits. (Sports72Xtrm (talk) 08:02, 22 March 2011 (UTC))
- Actually it would seem that they're not following orders after they destroyed Camp Taurajo by looting the remains, but there's no killing mentioned. Reverting it. --g0urra[T҂C] 08:21, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Massacre?[]
"The high number of civilian casualties has caused many with in the Horde to call the Alliance attack a massacre." Where this comes from? Is it mentioned anywhere in game/books or is it about Horde player's "RP"? --Rowaasr13 (talk) 14:35, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
