The official site calls them "Dark Iron Dwarves". --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 22:04, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Yeah and it might be better if we create three separated pages. One for the Ironforge dwarves, or Bronzebeard dwarves better. Another for the Wildhammer dwarves and lastly the Dark Iron dwarves. I know that there are the Mountain and Hill dwarves but there are too many inconsistencies to use them. (talk) 01:55, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
Bronzebeard clan/Ironforge dwarf, Dark Iron clan, Wildhammer clan.--SWM2448 05:26, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
That's perfect but maybe it would be better to separate race and faction. Also what you think fits the lore better, the Ironforge dwarves or the Bronzebeard dwarves? (talk) 08:33, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
I'd honestly keep the current status quo instead of doing more splitting. For the normal dwarves there are already too much overlapping between Dwarf, Ironforge dwarf, Bronzebeard clan, Ironforge dwarf, Kingdom of Ironforge and Ironforge (faction), not even talking about when people link to Ironforge and Khaz Modan when they talk about the dwarven kingdom. For the Wildhammer clan, Blizzard is still unable to settle about their ethnicity, and since AFAIK no Wildhammer dwarf has ever been depicted as betraying their kin and fighting against the clan a single page about race and faction seems good enough for now. For the Dark Irons there is already a split between race and faction, excepted that ooooof course Blizzard had to use the faction name for the race. Meh. Xporc (talk) 08:23, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
Oh Blizzard always making things easier for us. Ok then for now status quo and wait. Maybe I'll remove the infobox races I put on the Mountain dwarf and Hill dwarf since it will probably be confusing and instead I will use the Ironforge dwarf and Wildhammer clan. About the Dark dwarves let's wait and see how they are properly named and etc in BfA before changing the name. (talk) 16:02, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I suggest waiting for the Battle for Azeroth beta before any decision. The playable Dark Iron dwarves will be unlocked through playing Kul Tiras, and I want to know if they are truly members of the Dark Iron clan or if the dark dwarves race is retconned as being simply called Dark Iron dwarves. Xporc (talk) 15:09, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
I know this dovetails into the discussion on Talk:Dark Iron dwarf, but I'm really not sure that would be a retcon. There's only a single source for "dark dwarf" while "dark iron dwarf" is used pretty consistently everywhere else. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:10, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

Classes[]

What is the source of the class listed, and perhaps it should be added that additional classes are yet to be named? Solitha0620 (talk) 22:58, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

I don't remember the source, but I'm certain it was announced, maybe on mmo-champion. The "(more TBA)" isn't already explicit enough about additional classes? Xporc (talk) 08:39, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
I put the (more TBA), it wasn't there before. And yes I read about the Paladin dwarf and Druid Zandalari in mmo-champion if I'm correct. Here you have it: http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/7186-Battle-for-Azeroth-Allied-Races Ryon21 (talk) 10:16, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
