Just remember fanfiction and fan discriptions do not belong in the article. The fanartwork would be best in the talk page, until we determine the quality.Baggins 08:05, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I know you mean well, but that isn't quite the quality we are looking for, when it comes to fanart.Baggins 08:24, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Thats alright mate! :p looks cool anywayz :p i think i put it in the article instead of the Take page =\ sorry about that mate.. IconSmall HighElf Male--Envyme 08:38, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Envyme

I've put up a picture of a rather obvious elven horse from the game, the thalassian warhorse.Baggins 18:02, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Now is it possible High Elves used red warhorses instead of blue ones?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 22:32, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

What the horse is currently wearing isn't important, what's important is the horse itself.Baggins 04:46, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Oh so pre "The Fall of Silvermoon", High Elves did/could wear red?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 23:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

We know pre-blood elves, high elves wore red or any color for that matter. Most chose to stop wearing red after blood elves came into existence so they wouldn't be confused with blood elves.Baggins 23:54, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Now could a non Blood Knight tap into their Naaru's powers? Or does he have to be an actual Blood Knight to summon the Blood Knight mount etc. instead of let's say a paladin or warlock. 00:15, 22 November 2007 (UTC)  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:27, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Dude the whole mount summoning thing is pure gameplay it has nothing to do with lore. As per the novels, and many examples in the RPG books people get on horses the normal way in the lore. Read Day of the Dragon for more information on how Vareesa mounted her elven horse. Sorry, if I feel a bit silly having to explain this to you...Baggins 00:24, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

No, the Blood Elf Paladin Mount. They're different. The Pally one is non organic magic.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:27, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

No, if you follow the quest lines while you access through magic gameplay wise, the quest lore definitely states that you are given the horse, and its called a "thalassian charger". Again gameplay and real world mechanics don't always mix.Baggins 00:30, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Wait, wait, wait. The Blood Knight Charger is a real, iving breathing organic horse. While the Ally one is a inorganic being that looks like a horse, that is mad out of The Light? That makes no sense.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:32, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

The Alliance horses are living breathing real horses too, there is a whole article on them, read Alliance Player's Guide, :p... Again game mechanics doesn't equate to real "lore".Baggins 00:33, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Ok I read on this site that along w/ the gnome mounts they pally ones are inorganic. I'll try to find a qoute.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:35, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

The quote changed, but I found the new one "The Mechanostrider is one of the only mount that is non-organic, although technically the Paladin Warhorse and Charger are summoned, magical mounts, and the others being the engineer flying machines."- Taken from WoWWiki's mechanostrider article.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:37, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

You can tell the difference when a sentece refers to gameplay as opposed to written lore right?Baggins 00:42, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

No that's why I didn't understand and asked. So if the pally horses are live horses, how do they get "chosen" to become a light infused noble steed as opposed to living in the stable munchin grass all their life occasionally carrying a peasent or warrior?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs

They are just like any other horse, they live in stables and munch on grass, :p... Again your confusing lore with gameplay. In game they are summoned by a magic spell (which is a mechanic not lore), in the lore they are just regular horses that paladins keep with them, or leave in stables when they don't use them. Most of them are the same horses a warrior used before he even became a paladin.Baggins 02:36, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. Blizz has has got to start separting lore from mechanics. It's too confusing.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 02:37, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

It is seperated, you just have to read the sources, and lore behind them. In anycase there has to be a simple mechanic within the MMO, how else would they have horses in game? It would be a burden to the game engine, and some computers if everyone had their mounts following them around until they were ready to use them.Baggins 02:41, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
