I broke the Fishing skill requirements by zone section and table out from the Fishing locations article because:
- it serves a different purpose than the first section of the article, which addresses where to fish for what you want
- it is frequently referenced in fishing articles, requiring a subsection link, which is a bit cumbersome
- and it seems to crop up as a source of confusion, so highlighting it in its own article might alleviate that

Fishing Skill Requirement Lowered?[]
I believe the fishing skill requirements have been lowered in some, if not all zones. I was able to fish in Azshara's Bay of Storms at skill level 312, but I surmise that I could do so at 305 had I tried it without a lure. Was I able to CATCH anything? Supposedly, in 3.1 you can now fish anywhere with any skill, instead of get-aways you get junk. Dalaran's been lowered though, as I'm catching goldfish and coins at 415. Graptor (talk) 18:15, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
