Subspecies

At what time they said they are the new subspecies?--Mordecay (talk) 11:51, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

I changed the wording to say "offshoot" instead of "subspecies". -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 12:10, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Tauren/Highmountain tauren/Highmountain Tribe/Highmountain tribe

I'm actually not sure how to handle this. I'm wondering if it's best to move all the information on this page to the main tauren page. I'm not in the alpha, but it seems like the Highmountain tauren culture is largely similar to that of the Kalimdor tauren. However, according to Wowhead, there's a new archaeology branch titled Highmountain tauren, and, coupled with the obvious physical differences, I personally kind of want to treat the Highmountain tauren as a separate subrace and list all relevant information (Rivermane, Skyhorn, Bloodtotem, Thunder Totem, Hammer of Khaz'goroth) here, and keep the tauren page solely about the Kalimdor tauren. Wowhead also currently lists the "Highmountain Tribe" (with an upper-case T) as a reputation faction, so I feel like it might be best to make a distinction between Trag's "Highmountain tribe" and Mayla's "Highmountain Tribe". Something like this:

"Highmountain tribe" redirects here. For the lore and reputation rewards of the dominant Highmountain tauren tribe on the Broken Isles, see Highmountain Tribe.

Thoughts? -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 15:26, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

I like the Kalimdor tauren and Highmountain tauren treatment as well as the tribe idea. --Mordecay (talk) 19:27, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
Update: Mystfire84 created a separate page for the Legion faction in the form of Highmountain Tribe, so I suppose we might as well split the information on the Highmountain tribe page. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 11:44, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

Feltotem tauren

Shouldn't there be a section (or page) for the Feltotem tauren as well? There's one for other corrupted versions of races (except Feltotem and Felskorn vrykul). Meganerd18 (talk) 12:21, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

Seems unnecessary to me since we already have Bloodtotem tribe. Don't see why we couldn't just put any Feltotem tauren information on that page, unless there are Feltotem tauren from other tribes than the Bloodtotem/Feltotem. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 13:01, 19 May 2017 (UTC)
I agree. I think it'd be necessary if there were non-Bloodtotem Feltotem, like how Felblood elves aren't restricted to one group, but as far as we currently know there isn't. -Cannibeans (talk) 02:34, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
