Added Kaz'Rogal strategy, still need images. Darot 18:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

3.5 min to kill him?[]

Does he really have 4.2 million HP (Same as Void Reaver?) That would be 20,000 raid DPS to kill him, or around 800 DPS from every single person. Stillfresh 19:52, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Thats assuming you have 25 DPS which you won't. 800 DPS is very low for a DPSer in MH. Many are doing that type of damage in Kara/Gruul.Warthok Talk Contribs 20:17, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
You are also forgetting that the Tauren Warriors and Thrall can help you out on the DPS. Satarus 23:25, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, damage dealers must do over 1000 DPS at this level (the highest sustained DPS I've seen so far was 1300, and we're currently at this boss). --Batox 17:12, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Elaborating Strategy[]

This article is in a very sad state and fails to mention multiple aspects of the fight. Although it does succeed in mentioning the barest form of what this boss does. I'm going to add multiple tips to the article. Feel free to modify it. --Furi, February 09, 2008.

I noticed the article had been rewritten, and it is much more nicely organized than I had it. :) I added that Ice Block and Divine Shield can be used as methods for mana management, but I noticed that the War Stomp was restated to be outrangeable. Is this still true? I personally haven't outranged it, as I heal, but our melee DPS reports they are unable to. Furinaux 21:45, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

NPC Damage and Survivability[]

Is it still true that the NPC's can down the last 15% or so of this boss if there's still one raid member alive? I can't say for sure if any raid members were alive, but after we effectively (or perhaps, totally) wiped, Thrall seemed to take 20% damage per hit from Kaz'rogal and the boss' incoming damage was for only 15-20. It was our first time seeing this boss and it took only 2 attempts to down him (hence only the one wipe during which I didn't note exactly when the last raid member died.) Is this like an anti-NPC post-wipe enrage or have the NPC's been nerfed? CCMCornell (talk) 03:50, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Cleave[]

His Cleave is a bit special, you can read the tooltip here. It's an instant, and the damage is divided. In the unlikely case that burst damage is a problem, using an OT to soak up some Cleave damage would be an option. --Tifi (talk) 09:09, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
