- Because Uldum, was a name found on documents, but nobody knew where it was until the Shattering.

- The whole zone was lost. The city itself wasn't particularly unknown, but after escaping from it, it is forgotten until the end of the end of the quest chain. I don't know. Its proper names seems to be "the Lost City". Maybe the zone was intended to be more mysterious at one point.--SWM2448 17:05, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
