Judging by its author: Rhonin's story, perhaps? --Joshmaul (talk) 06:52, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

I think this book will be about Rhonins misson in the past that still haunts him in DOTD. You know the misson that killed his comrads and nearly exiled him from the Kirin Tor, according to the book all because of his recklessnes.--wowsjostedt (talk) 17:29, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

The title of this book, on Amazon.com and www.flipkart.com (first two sites I found listing it) was "Warcraft: Mage", not "World of Warcraft: Mage". The former name is currently a redirect to here. Is this because of uncertainties over naming, given that it is described as "forthcoming"? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 23:00, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know, but the same holds true for Death Knight and probably Shaman as well. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:02, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Is the information from the back of the cover accurate? Someone who has bought the book should double-check that. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 00:26, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

I think this is the complete summary, am tracking this lead down:

Aodan comes from a lineage that includes some of Azeroth’s most heroic paladins and warriors, but the whip-smart young man is not built for physical combat. He’s thin, bookish, and desperately wants to be a mage. After his controlling father forbids him to practice magic, Aodan flees to study the arcane arts in the city of Dalaran.

Aodhan’s dream of becoming a powerful spellcaster is violently interrupted when a host of blue dragons lays siege to Dalaran. Although far from home, the young mage finds help from a relative who has been close by all along - Crevan, his magic-wielding uncle. The cunning older mage, after escaping from Dalaran’s prison, takes the impressionable Aodhan under his wing, and together they work to prevent the city’s destruction. But there is a darker secret behind Dalaran’s dire situation, and Aodhan might be the only one who can end the schemes that threaten the city, becoming the hero his family never thought he could be.Source PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 17:52, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Sounds accurate to the preview I saw on Blizzard's site awhile back. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:59, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
