Though I have come to regard the navboxes as speculation and fan fiction, this edit has me wondering: Do these exist in WoW separate from frost nymphs and dryads? They have an icon now...--SWM2448 00:16, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

There's no source that the listed "nymphs" are actually nymphs - they could be a variant of the ordinary dryad. We don't know for sure, but the whole section should be regarded as speculation. --g0urra[T҂C] 22:30, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
It seems plausible and logic (imo) that the term "nymph" is more of a category or semi-category, like fey creatures, and that dryads are a kind of nymph, or that a nymph is a subcategory and/or variation of dryads. The image representing a nymph without the fawn lower body disputes this, though, and puts the two physically apart, but this is merely concept art, and not lore... --Oponyxal (talk) 06:13, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
I added nymph to the list because coobra made a icon for nymph, and i thought that his opinion was that it was a race.--Ashbear160 (talk) 12:49, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
When frost nymphs appear in warmer climates, they turn green (and go insane, apparently only sometimes). A frost nymph without the frost, going by name alone, may be a nymph. However, any mention of 'nymph' may be short for 'frost nymph' actual frost or no. I think that they are just dryads with a more elaborate model.--SWM2448 19:52, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
