Why it is stated that Village was founded after the end with Daelin´s army? It was founded during that war in W3. Was it retconned?--Mordecay (talk) 21:55, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

From what I remember from War3 Vol'jin established a troll base in Dustwallow Marsh in the Orc campaign for TFT. So the way we can look at this is that a retcon could of occurred with blizzard simply moving the base into Durotar or the troll base in Dustwallow was abandoned and when Zalazane did his thing, the trolls left the echo isles and created Sen'jin Village. --Sairez (talk) 22:31, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
So that base and Sen'jin Village aren´t the same? I don´t know why but i have thought that it was the Village.--Mordecay (talk) 22:40, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
Most of the locations in "The Founding of Durotar" match, but they also do not. After the trolls evacuated the Echo Isles, they built a new village in the Barrens. I forget if it was ever named, but I don't think so. I assume that village to be Sen'jin Village, just moved in WoW, but any confirmation would have been long ago. Other things too: Razor Hill and the unnamed town Gar'Thok was at (which is Razor Hill in WoW) were not the same place. I assume that Tiragarde Keep was the castle at Tidefury Cove, but maybe not.--SWM2448 01:47, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
I am playing the Founding of Durotar and noticed some things. After the map of Echo Isles is completed, Thrall says, that Trolls are establishing a new village (not a base) in the southern coast, however it is never said, whether it is located on the Barrens or Durotar. (But let's assume that Durotar, coz Barrens has no coast and Durotar was already named). However, the description of second mission says that this village is in Dustwallow Marsh, such a mess! Also that History paragraph... source? And can be put a speculation of W3 vs. WoW? --Mordecay (talk) 11:49, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
The village was clearly in the Barrens. That is where Old Hatreds takes place. The loading screens says it is Dustwallow Marsh, but that is the map with Kor'gall and the Stonemaul. The Barrens does too have a coast. In WoW, the Darkspear left due to Zalazane. See here, for example, though it goes back to the original WoW manual too (which also says Thrall found them in Stranglethorn Vale, but that is for another time). I don't know if they went back to the Echo Isles, or if it was retconned.--SWM2448 22:21, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
