Kael[]
Kael reappears in shatt? Cormundo 04:43, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
It is my guess that Kael'thas will try to use the power of the Sunwell to summon Kil'jaeden or Sargeras into the world again, and it'll be up to us to stop him once more. I come to this speculation because of the items required to resurrect the Sunwell (Anasterion Sunstrider's skull, crushed gems from Pandaria, jeweled chalice from Undermine, and of course, Anveena) Kael already has one of them (the skull) and seeing as his troops are moving on the bloodmyst and azuremyst isles, it can be assumed he has been able to obtain the gems from Pandaria, as for the chalice, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume he has that as well. Anveena on the other hand would be a pain to get, but I'd enjoy seeing this story unfold personally, it would be a great tie up to the burning crusade story, it began and ended with the burning legion. Sapphiron 12:56, 28 August 2007 (EST)
I allowed myself to edit the Article, and change the decription of the End Boss from "Shadow of Kil'Jaeden" to "half-formed Kil'jaeden". Mostly because these are the words used by Metzen, and because "Shadow" seems to suggest the end boss is only an avatar of sorts, whereas not being fully summoned could simply mean we fight a weakend Kil'jaeden, but that he in fact the real deal.
Kamisutra 28 August 2007
Crushed gems from pandaria? Err... A) what does azuremist and bloodmist isle have to do with pandaria and B) Why do they need the jewls and the chalice and finaly C) Seems to me that one of the loot drops might be FLamestrike!!! Cormundo 05:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- "...the items required to resurrect the Sunwell (Anasterion Sunstrider's skull, crushed gems from Pandaria, jeweled chalice from Undermine..." I'm as confused as Cormundo. Where on hell are these "prerequisites" written on? On a novel? Role game? I'm agree about Anveena since "she" is the humanized vessel of the Sunwell's "mind", if it can be called like that.
- As for the rest of the article, if Kael is moving to the Magister's Terrace, someone/something else will take his place in The Eye at Outland. Uhm... And since we only "kill" a shadow of Kil'Jaeden, then I suppose he'll be alive to witness (or involve us) into killing Nerzhul's new vessel. Heh, how thrilling /joy Ravenore , the Necroshadowmancer 23:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure Kael'thas is still going to be in the Eye. -- Dark T Zeratul 23:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Go to the "Sunwell" page, it says what is needed to reactivate the Sunwell. Pandaria hasn't been confirmed to be near Azuremyst and Bloodmyst. Also the Blood Elves there got there through a portal from Tempest Keep, their mission is to take back the Exodar. For the Jeweled Chalice from Undermine, I can't imagine anyone (even a goblin) to trust Kael'thas. Though I know that the Venture Co. was allied to Kael'thas, the Venture Co. are pretty dumb so they don't count =P. Anyways Kael is the last boss of Magisters Terrace, he and his Felblood Elves are trying to summon Kil'Jaeden to Azeroth. --- Hawkwing ---
Kael as a boss? Rehash[]
Where is it stated that Kael will be a boss at the Sunwell Plateau? You already kill him at The Eye as the final boss, and I have yet to read or hear where it has been stated he would be resurrected as a boss to face there. Jhardizzle 18:14, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- So read Kael's article? User:Kirkburn/Sig3 18:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree with Kirkburn. Would be wise to first read his article first :P He doesn't die. --Odolwa 17:28, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
fel dragon clarification[]
Is the fel dragon a seperate boss, or is it a corrupted Kalec?Baggins 02:30, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- It is separate according to http://www.worldofraids.com/
- * Kil'jaeden will be featured in the 25-man instance, and the EPICness of the fight will be on par with Illidan's. There are 5 more bosses: Brutalicus, a pit lord; Kalecgos, the blue dragon from the Sunwell Trilogy (who is enslaved by Kil'jaeden); a Fel Dragon; female Eredar twins; and a Dark Naaru!
- -- Raze 02:35, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Removed Presumed[]
It has been confirmed in an earlier interview both instances will include evil blood elves.--Gurluas 05:46, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- True, but you should probably provide a link to that interview when making a change. "An earlier interview" doesn't help -- Raze 05:52, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Legendary Bow[]
Is there any citable source which would support the statement that the bow is "more likely to drop off Kil'jaeden or Kalecgos"? [as opposed to the other bosses]. I have removed this reference to Kalecgos, pending such a citation. I do not consider at unreasonable to believe that Kil'jaeden will drop the bow, but there seems no foundation for a similar belief of Kalecgos. -- Zerstoren 17:30, 31 December 2007
- If they make it similar to the Legendaries of old that required multiple rare drops and difficult quests/grinding to obtain rather than simply being part of the boss loot like the Twin Blades of Azzinoth (and I hope they are, that gives them a much more legendary feeling of accomplishment), then it's possible both Kalecgos and Kil'jaeden drop quest items for it. -- Dark T Zeratul 02:11, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- There is a lot of debate on it 'simply' dropping. While it does drop in the stead of a quest reward, there is a large quest chain required to get to Illidan. In a side note, the only lore bows I know of, Sunstrider's Longbow and Frostfathom, both have to do with Kael.--SWM2448 02:40, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Right now it seems we won't know for sure if the legendary bow will be in Sunwell till the PTR. Leviathon 09:49, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it was confirmed by Blizzard (can't recall which guy said it though). I'm fine with the multiple-drops speculation above (cf Dark Zeratul), but again, why Kalecgos? We don't know anything about the other bosses which we could use to say "Kalecgos is more powerful than ____ and so is more likely to drop [Legendary Bow]" -- Zerstoren 09:00, 1 January 2008
- Yes, the currently hottest topic on the forums is indeed the legendary Hunter bow; this might just be fake, but think what you want. It's called Ishkabu, Crystalized Longbow, notice that the name is misspelled.
- Ishkabu, Crystalized Longbow
- Bow
- Ranged
- Speed 3.20
- 158 - 267 Damage
- (66.4 damage per second)
- +27 Agility
- Classes: Hunter

- Equip: Increases your chance to get a critical strike by 1%.
Equip: Improves your chance to hit by 1%.
Equip: Decreases your attack speed by 10%.

- Source EU Forums.
- Source image with epic cloak (notice Berserker's Battlegear also misspelled).
Obviously that is fake. Leviathon 19:50, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Female Eradar Twins? Wtf?[]
I am removing the "Female Eradar Twins" untill someone can find a source for it. --KoalaMeatPie 07:22, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Jeff Kaplan confirmed it in an interview, with Wowinsider I believe. I'm going to put it back in the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zentyr (talk · contr).
M'uru[]
Well it seems M'uru may be the Naaru boss in Sunwell as the Dark Naaru model in the files is named as him. http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/images/news/2008/february/muru.jpg Leviathon 04:55, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- It seems so. I would say M'uru is mostly confirmed to be the dark Naaru boss. Funny to think about the consequences of this for the Blood Elf race :)--Morgaur 10:17, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ahh, but even though he was in the middle of Silvermoon, those who were draining him were obviously brainwashed or controlled by Kael (who would want to follow him anyway...), which means that the Blood Elves will blame Kael for bringing M'uru to Silvermoon. If the Naaru knew about it, they could have easily popped into Silvermoon to rescue their buddy ;) FireDragonX 11:02, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Notice that M'uru's newly added model has no death or attack animations. I wonder how this is going to work.AMBER(RΘCK) 11:06, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if I am right, the Naaru are working with the Shattered Sun Offensive. This possibly means that the Naaru are trying to rescue M'uru, and may give you the task of having to free M'uru from the control of Kael's servants. (Good job with the loading screen images by the way ;]) FireDragonX 11:18, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Blizzard has confirmed that a dark naaru (presumably M'uru) would be a boss in the Plateau. That means we'll have to kill him, or otherwise claim a victory over him by doing a fair bit of fighting.AMBER(RΘCK) 11:25, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
The Void God model has a very strong resemblance to M'uru's model so by the looks of it the Void God IS M'uru not some agent of the Void.. Leviathon 19:35, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Apparantly, the Void God and M'uru are two completely seperate mobs, as there are two pictures of them. FireDragonX 20:55, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I am unsure what you mean by that. Since M'urus model has no attacking animations its obvious we don't fight that and the Void God model has pieces of Naaru runes around and on it that match M'uru's model. Since we know part of the Naaru life cycle is that they eventually become a void like being the Void God model makes sense to be him. Leviathon 08:49, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- How does A'dal attack? or other Naaru? Not a lot of resemblance as the void god looks humanoid. It does seem possible that he becomes the void god, or it may not. The void god doesn't fit anywhere else in the patch. -- Raze 03:48, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Well no Naaru does actually 'attack' as when a thing gets close to A'dal for example it just dies from some magical move instantly. I am going by how the runes on the void god match exactly with M'uru. Leviathon 19:32, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if you check the files, the Void God and M'uru share some files in the MPQ. That is to say, there are Void God textures in the M'uru creature directory. Suzaku 20:40, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
My bet is that once M'uru is the Dark Naruu something happens to him and he transforms into the Void God.
Oh man this is gonna rock :P Warchiefthrall 21:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well the description of the next gate says he is now a twisted reflection of his former self so that pretty much gives away he will be the void god. Leviathon 05:22, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- After watching the video down the bottom (thanks for those, very nice ;D), it looks like the Void Gods are the servants, or even perhaps parts, of M'uru (Looks like he summons them). M'uru himself does not attack(?). Looks hard for such a quick wipe. FireDragonX 16:09, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
There are no Void God models in that fight yet those are just normal armored Void Walkers. Since no attempts have been made on M'uru since that day no one knows what happens after that one move he does or if he turns into the Void God later in the fight. Leviathon 22:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Kill Videos[]
This was posted on my realm forums: Good high quality kill videos. M'uru is a test attempt wipe, and Kil'jaedon are his animations. TOP3 is just that, ftw.

Velen in Sunwell Plateau[]
In todays PTR patch Blizzard added all the voice overs and at the end of the Kil'Jaeden fight it seems Velen comes and gives a pretty long speech. 'Mortal Heroes your victory here today was foretold long ago, my brothers anguished cry of defeat will echo across the universe bringing renewed hope to all those who still stand against the burning crusade.' Thats the first part of 9 files. Leviathon 04:13, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Added the spoiler tag to the M'uru part I added Anveena also does indeed sacrifice herself. 'The nightmare is over, the spell is broken, goodbye Kalec my love.' Must admit they did a great job with the voices of Kalec, Kil'jaeden and Anveena. Leviathon 04:28, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Read MMO-Champion, Lady Liadrin seems to be there as well. Note that this very conversation is probably the end of The Burning Crusade.AMBER(RΘCK) 08:19, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Yea the conversation is between Liadrin and Velen. It seems it ends with the blood elves truly being redeemed for their actions marking the 'rebirth' of their nation just as M'uru will be re-born. Leviathon 08:32, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Err, I don't think he's talking about M'uru being "reborn", exactly. He says it will rebirth a "fount of power", and perhaps with time, "the soul of a nation", referring to the Sunwell and Quel'thalas, I'd have to assume. I don't think he'd refer to M'uru as a "mere fount of power" in the same breath as "a noble naaru". Anveena's sacrifice purifies the corrupted Sunwell, which leads me to believe that Velen then uses M'uru's "spark" to rebirth it with the power of the Holy Light (giving the Blood Knights their salvation in the process). Of course... We'll have to wait and see how that actually pans out, I suppose. Suzaku 03:37, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yea guess it does make more sense he would mean the Sunwell itself. Leviathon 04:50, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Took it from the instances =[]
I could say that I first uploaded the Sunwell Plateau map to the Instances page and they took it from there, while I originaly uploaded it there from the atlasmod.
