:It is about the same spot on Daggercap Bay. I think Lands of Mystery says it was, but I do not know for sure. [[Quest:Rescuing the Rescuers]] and the [[Forgotten Shore]] makes me think it was retconned though.--{{User:Sandwichman2448/Sig}} 23:05, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Dragon Pen

A promotional screenshot hints they have a 'dragon pen' here.--SWM2448 22:26, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

As seen on this wallpaper: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/images/wallpapers/wall2/wall2-1024x768.jpg RogueJedi86 22:47, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Sure the roof is opened with dragon heads, but all I see is what appears to be a dog in the right side of the middle of the pic Mr.X8 19:38, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

It is in Utgarde, which is just BY Valgarde.--SWM2448 20:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Magistrate Randalvarr

Looks like Magistrate Randalvarr won't be in WotLK, since now theres's a Valgarde and he's not there. Mr.X8 19:27, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Sure, his position has probably been replaced with someone more important.Baggins 19:28, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Maybe he will be, just not yet, or his term of office is over. Mr.X8 19:33, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Kinda wish he was to see another half-elf besides Arator. Mr.X8 19:38, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Why is not he there?--SWM2448 21:52, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Granted we haven't seen inside the buildings of city yet have we? We don't even know who is in the city yet.Baggins 02:20, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I didn't look for specific names whilst there, but there's little reason to assume that he's not there or not involved. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 03:49, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

He's a half-elf and the 1 hal-elf in-game uses a Blood Elf model. That's kinda why I thought he wasn't going to be in Valgarde. And you've been there Kirkburn? Mr.X8 18:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Blizzcon :) Valgarde doesn't just refer to the Alliance settlement afaik - if you see the concept art, it appears to also refer to the nearby vrykul settlement. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 23:14, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

But you did go to Valgarde right? And if so, did you see any High Elves there at all? Mr.X8 17:39, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Not I specifically recall, but I wasn't looking for them. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 23:32, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Are there dragons in this "supposed" dragon pen. And if so, what purpose do they have? Mr.X8 20:40, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

...dragon mounts? >>; It'd be nice. --Super Bhaal 21:19, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Maybe you can have red dragon mounts in the expansion. The red dragonflight said they would help Dalaran with the Blue Dragonflight since theyre honor bound to Rhonin. Mr.X8 00:51, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

The Captain

I don't suppose there's any evidence of Arthas' Captain from Warcraft 3 making an appearance? Since he was unnamed in Warcraft 3 I guess it's easy to assume he is one of the named NPCs there, unless Blizzard just forgot about him altogether. On a similar note, is there a Wowwiki article on the good Captain? He was a pretty cool side character; at least I thought so. I know that quite a few Scrolls of Lore people were hoping to see him resurface (myself among them of course). --Timolas 17:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

I doubt there is any thing about him. I have been searching for that character before I signed up. (Agreed he was an awesome character( maybe I should actually start typing up my story?)).--The last Alterac 05:28, 30 October 2007 (UTC) /emote Cries. why hasnt any one replied to this?--The last Alterac 10:17, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Maybe its best to send Metzen some "fan inquiry" about the good Captain. I agree he is pretty cool, guarding the young Prince from the beginning to the end. Hope Metzen remembers him and brings him back. --Invin Dranoel 12:10, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

For all we know he could have died in that one battle against Mal'Ganis' forces.  :/ I'd still like to see him again, since I agree with everyone else: he was awesome, and so was his armor and sword. --Super Bhaal 13:03, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Yo. Anyone got a pic of this dude? IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs

He doesn't have a unique model. Just speculations, but... maybe the good Captain is Jorad Mace. Both wear Golden armor. Jorad served under Arthas. Just speculation... --Invin Dranoel 16:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Your speculations have at least one flaw... Jorad Mace NEVER WENT TO NORTHREND. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The last Alterac (talk · contr).

Says who? (Please sign your messages btw) Kirkburn  talk  contr 05:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

No one says it. It is just the lack of sauces. For all we know Magtherigan could of been the captain.--The last Alterac 08:51, 8 November 2007 (UTC) I miss Bagins. /emote cries. (Maybe he has better things to do than post here?)--The last Alterac 07:30, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Acording to sources (EG unit quotes.) the unamed caption's father wanted him to be a farmer--The last Alterac 05:53, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

In support of the Jorad Mace theory, it's possible that Jorad may have accompanied Arthas to Northrend; he was along with Arthas long enough to see him fall to the Scourge, that much is clear. There's nothing that says he did go, but there's nothing that says he didn't, either. --Joshmaul 08:53, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Here is my theory. The Captain IS eaither Kil'jaden or Hypothermal (Quotes warcraft 3 "This Artic wind cuts to the bone and your not even shaking")--The last Alterac 04:32, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

maybe he is just badass? XD --Invin Dranoel 14:58, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

I dissagree with that theory. He is clearly not a centaur. --The last Alterac 07:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

The Captain finally has his own unique page. There was a generic page for Warcraft 3 Captains - Captain (WC3), but that was not speaking of the character we know, rather about a class of footmen in the Lordaeron army. --Timolas 10:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Theory: The Maiden's Virtue in Menethil

There's a third boat moored in Menethil Harbor known as the Maiden's Virtue - Bart Tidewater's her captain. Could it be, possibly, that this will be the boat that runs from the southern continents to Valgarde? --Joshmaul 08:53, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

HOLY SHIT. A ship with a gender. (Now Activision Blizzard has officialy lost the plot) --The last Alterac 09:02, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

There's a lot of ships with gendery names in WoW  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 03:01, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Most ships are female IRL.--SWM2448 21:50, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Its not the fact that the ship has a girl name its the fact that it was refered to as "she"--The last Alterac 04:03, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Most boats are.--SWM2448 01:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure all boats are. Same with countires and cars. Sometimes guns but that' not widespread.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 00:39, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Actually some countries are reffered to as male, for instance Denmark is male both in danish and french, don't know about english though. -Rovdyr 10:03, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't think countries generally have a gender in English. However, there may be exceptions for "personified" countries, such as the British Empire, which I think can be feminine. Kirkburn  talk  contr 12:57, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Like in Call of Duty when the soviets fight for "Mother Russia"? -Rovdyr (talk) 10:51, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Ships, countries, etc. generally are considered feminine, except in some special cases (i.e. the German battleship Bismarck, which was male, because his builders wanted to set him apart from all other sea vessels) Toasty McGrath (talk) 19:25, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
