The location of many towns shifted between Warcraft 2 and 3 and WoW. However, as Brill is also on the Warcraft 3 maps (albeit near Strahnbrad rather than its current location), the two towns are not one and the same. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:53, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

My guess would have been that it is Deathknell. Deathknell is the only, or one of the only, places that had its name changed by the Forsaken. The only thing is that it is in western Tirisfal Glades rather than in the eastern area. Rolandius (talk - contr) 03:08, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Acording to one of the Blizzard Warcraft 3 campaigns designer - David Fried (check: DesignerDave on youtube) this is what he said about some location's changes on Warcraft/WoW map of world.

My question: "Do you have any ideas why if we compare Warcraft 3 maps of Azeroth and WoW there are some differences in locations of some known places? Like Vandermar Village from this first mission of Undead Campaign or Black Citadel/Temple in TFT Human Campaign?"

Dave's answer: "The differences between WoW and War 3 were byproducts of being different games with different level designers and very little oversight on cohesion. It was up to the individual area designers of WoW to use or not use as much of War III as they wanted. Similarly when we made the War III maps, we loosely looked at maps and areas from Warcraft lore, but most of us just made whatever served the gameplay best."Goretian (talk) 15:44, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
