Founding of Durator/Demo Confusion[]

To quote the article. "The demo and Rexxar campaigns will be included in the game, but not recut like the rest of the campaigns. The original campaigns won't be included in the reforged game, only the recut ones." Now I'm confused because it mentions that the Demo and the Founding of Durotar will be in the game but not recut and yet only the recut versions will be in the game. So it's like the sentence is saying the campaigns are both in the game and not in the game. So is this just an awkward way of telling people that while the Demo/Rexxar campaigns are being Reforged the storyline with the campaigns isn't changing at all?--X59 (talk) 07:10, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

They will be in the game, just it is unclear whether it is the original or a recut. From the Q&A: "yes, they're coming too, even if they're not getting recut"SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 07:30, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
I know my english isn't the best but AFAIK the situation is as such: in Reforged there will be the 4 campaigns of Reign of Chaos and the 3 normal campaigns of The Frozen Throne. Those will be getting recuts compared to the original ones. In addition, Reforged will also have the Warcraft III Demo campaign and the Rexxar ones, but those won't be getting edited. Thanks for explaining and since the Playwarcraft3 website has an updated portrait for Rexxar.... Demo and Rexxar campaigns won't have any story changes but will still be updated in appearance. --X59 (talk) 17:57, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
That's what I understood Xporc (talk) 12:43, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Mission after Eternity's End (WC3 NightElf)[]

Mission after the World Tree that was removed might make it into Reforged, it's second hand so adding it as bit of info for those interested on the talk page here (not sure if the devs told him or it's his speculation, I know I heard about this removed mission from some War3 dev somewhere else but can't remember where) - 33:20 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rCKaVo93fw - GI Show – Warcraft III, Diablo Immortal, Red Dead Developer Roundtable. Aye, it's been added to the main article Xporc (talk) 12:22, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Grunts attachment points[]

The grunts have multiple attachment points: his helmet, his axe, his shoulder are attachment points so they could take the shoulderpad off or put two on, or change the axe to a club, or break a horn of the helmet. So basically even generic units can have random models? that's neat Xporc (talk) 12:22, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Lore?[]

This game will surely provide some dilemmas concerning canon - some of which I have collected here:

  • The additional content that they will be adding, will that be considered lore?
  • In case of changing the old storyline or removing old content - will that be considered valid retcons?
  • Should we change pictures on the pages to reflect their updated look?

Well not something we have to worry about anymore. Recent interview revealed that are not changing the story at all.--X59 (talk) 19:33, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
Less work but still disappointing Xporc (talk) 10:29, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
