Disambig[]

If there is every more than one race associated with the term "Sea Witch" we can some how disambig things a bit more. Not sure what we would call her though, as Sea Witch is her only name.Baggins 02:28, 29 December 2006 (EST)

Azshara[]

Azshara?? Is she the damned night elf queen?--Ramming pure 05:00, 23 January 2007 (EST)

Probably she was just planned as a generic ocean associated villain, not anyone in particular who we would hear of anywhere else, but of course this might get retconned.Minionman 04:30, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
I think that if she was Azshara, the forces at her command would be so overwhelming that the Horde couldn't escape. She would just destroy them with murlocs (and naga, if they were implemented at the time). That said, the murlocs could be balanced for the sake of gameplay. But I still doubt she is the Queen of the Highourne. Epsi-spoon 20:55, 5 July 2010 (GMT)

In game model[]

Shouldn't be noted that the Demo Campaign was done previously to the Frozen Throne thus it has models of Reign of Chaos only, where Naga were still unknown and undrown. At that time there were no model for a Naga Sea Witch? Perhaps blizz used the model of a banshee for this reason only? --N'Nanz 01:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

She was only confirmed to be a connected to the naga years after the release of TFT as far as I know. Any idea what they originally intended her to be is unknown. Its also possible that a retcon took place... But that's all speculation.Baggins (talk) 17:19, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
My interpretation had always been that she was a Water Elemental/Spirit of some sort until they retconned her to be a Naga Sea Witch Xarantaur (talk) 08:22, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
